rysowniczką, maluje obrazy i murale, tworzy instalacje i filmy. W swojej
twórczości eksploruje geograficzne otoczenie, przewijają się
w niej motywy autobiograficzne, stanowiące kanwę niejednoznacznych,
metaforycznych opowieści. Haraldsdóttir wystawiała w takich instytucjach
jak Scandinavia House w Nowym Jorku, Moderna Museet w Sztokholmie, Muzeum
Sztuki Współczesnej w Skopje w Macedonii oraz Muzeum Historii Singapurze.

We are pleased to announce the next resident of the A Place Where We Could Go project
Erla S. Haraldsdóttir, born in 1967
in Iceland. Lives and works in Berlin. She studied at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm, in the New Genres Department at the San Francisco Art Institute and at the Valand School of Fine Art in Gothenburg.
She creates drawings, paintings,
murals, installations and films. In her work, she explores her geographic
surroundings, with autobiographical threads providing a backdrop for ambiguous,
metaphorical narrative. Haraldsdóttir’s work has been exhibited in venues
including the Scandinavia House in New York, the Moderna Museet in Stockholm,
the Museum of Contemporary Art in Macedonia and the Museum of History in
Singapore. Her work is represented in the Reykjavík Art Museum, Iceland and the National Public Art Council in Sweden.
